For me is a quiet meditation on stillness, presence, and silence. Perched among the branches, he becomes a guardian of the natural world, observing without haste and existing in perfect harmony with its surroundings.
This painting was inspired by a rare moment when I living in a far way and remote place. I felt a bit like the owl, quietly watching time slow, allowing me to capture not only its form but also the atmosphere of the turbulence underneath the quietness. It was a time of difficulty and growth.
